The notch part of a locking lever 40 is moved along the coin throw-in port and conformed thereto in unlocking to allow the throw-in of the coin C, and a protruding piece 48 is moved along the coin throw-in port and conformed thereto in locking to close the coin throw-in port. At the same time when it is retreated from a coin passage G to release the held coin, the coin C is held by a lower holding plate 51 formed on the lower part of a coin holding plate, and released and returned simultaneously with unlocking.
