Abstract:
To prevent the extrusion trouble of coke and the damage to a coke oven wall in a horizontal chamber oven type coke oven.
A coke extruder is characterized by forming the horizontal cross-sectional shape of the tip portion of a coke extrusion ram in a dent shape and setting the depth of the groove at a proper value. Thereby, the transfer direction of a coke mass in a carbonization chamber is controlled on the extrusion of coke, and a load added to the oven wall is reduced, thus preventing an extrusion trouble and the damage to the oven wall.
