Abstract:

To provide a coke transportation control method for making an accurate unit coke transportation schedule in a minute unit, stabilizing the operation of a blast furnace and automating the transportation of the coke.

This coke transportation control method for transporting dry quenched coke, wet quenched coke and supplementary coke to coke tanks 17 with an identical transport means 18 for supplying the cokes to a blast furnace without consolidating the cokes comprises predictively computing the storage levels of the cokes, respectively, with the passage of time on the basis of the quantity of each used coke and the storage quantity of the coke tanks 17 for the blast furnace, in order to dispose the transport time of the wet quenched coke and the transport time of the supplementary coke on the transport way of the continuously transported dry quenched coke, predictively computing a wet quenched coke transport-starting time from the storage level with the passage of time and a wet quenched coke production finish time, predictively computing a supplementary coke transport-starting time from the storage level with the passage of time, readjusting the made provisional transport schedule, incorporating the readjusted schedule into the provisional transport schedule of the dry quenched coke to make the transport schedule of each coke, and then transporting each coke.
