Abstract:
To provide a technology that estimates a scrap remaining state in a smelting vessel in real time during operation of a metal smelting furnace.SOLUTION: A method of estimating a melting state of a cold iron source that estimates a melting state of a cold iron source in a metal smelting furnace in real time during operation, in which the vibration caused by a vibration of a bath surface of a molten metal in the metal smelting furnace is measured using an acceleration sensor, and a melting state of a cold iron source is estimated based on the fluctuation of one or two of an intensity and a frequency of the above described vibration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
