In a cold reserving storage which is equipped with an cold accumulator 3 having within cold accumulating materials 5, 5, etc., for keeping the cold reserving chamber 2 within the main body 1 of a heat insulating structure of cold reserving storage cool, and a refrigerating device 4 to the cool and freeze the cold accumulating materials 5, 5, etc., of that cold accumulator 3, a quantity-of-cold-accumulation adjusting means which adjusts the freezing condition of the above cold accumulating materials 5, 5, etc., according to the cold reserving load generated in the above cold reserving chamber 2 is annexed, and the cold accumulating materials 5, 5, etc., of the cold accumulator 3 are frozen by the cold accumulating operation of the refrigerating device 4, and at transportation by truck, the freezing condition of the cold accumulating materials 5, 5, etc., is adjusted, according to the cold reserving load generated in the cold reserving chamber 2, when performing the cold reservation of cold-reserved objects stored within the cold reserving chamber 2 by the cold heat accumulated in those cold accumulating materials 5, 5, etc.
