Abstract:
To obtain a cold-seal adhesive relieving at least one of problems of conventional cold-seal adhesive containing a natural rubber resin and further exhibiting excellent antiblocking property, cold-seal adhesivity and printability.
The adhesive is a water-based cold-seal adhesive containing a urethane resin (A) accounting for at least 20 wt.% of the adhesive. The urethane resin (A) is preferably produced by the polymerization of a monomer mixture having a polyol/polyisocyanate weight ratio of (1-19)/1. The urethane resin preferably has a Tg of ≤50°C.
