To provide a cold storage chamber capable of reducing the capacity of an accumulator, and improving the control accuracy of a temperature in the chamber.
A cold storage chamber is provided with a solenoid valve 11 between a condenser 7 and a pressure reducer 12. When the detecting temperature of an inside temperature sensor has become higher than an upper set temperature, a control means outputs a cooling operation signal and, on the other hand, when the detecting temperature of the same sensor has become lower than a lower set temperature, the control means outputs a cooling stopping signal. An ON-OFF device for compressor receives the output signal of the control means. When the signal is cooling operation signal, the control means supplys electric power to the compressor 9 and, on the other hand, when the signal is the cooling stopping signal, the control means intercepts the supply of power to the compressor. In this case, an ON-OFF device for the solenoid valve receives an output signal of the control means, and, when the signal is a cooling operation signal, the same device opens the solenoid valve and, on the other hand, when the signal is the cooling stopping signal, the same device closes the solenoid valve.
