PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of cold water generation by a method wherein a compression type refrigerating machine and absorption type refrigerating machine are jointly used, and the warm water of a heat recovery warm water circuit of the compression type refrigerating machine is used as a heat source for the regeneration action of the absorption type refrigerating machine.
CONSTITUTION: A heat recovery warm water circuit H passing through a heat exchanger 5 consists of a compressor 1, a condenser 2, an expansion valve 3 and an evaporator 4, and the heat exchanger 5 is provided on a line leading from the compressor 1 to the condenser 2. The refrigerant gas exchanges heat with the warm water of the heat recovery warm water circuit H at the heat exchanger 5 provided on the line leading from the compressor 1 to condenser 2, so that the warm water of the heat recovery warm water circuit H is heated to a temperature higher than the condensing temperature in the condenser 2. Then, the warm water of the heat recovery warm water circuit H is led to a regenerator 8 of an absorption type refrigerating machine B to regenerate the absorbing solution. Thereby, a portion of heat amount of the refrigerant gas can be recovered and effectively used, resulting in an improvement of the efficiency of cold water generation.
