Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank and a drinking water server using the same which are capable of minimizing occurrence of germs by making the water storage tank in the server completely airless.SOLUTION: A cold water tank for a drinking water server has a water supply port at its lower part for taking drinking water into it and a water discharge port at its upper part for discharging the drinking water in it to the outside. In the upper part of the cold water tank, a receiving plate covering a prescribed range of a cross section of the tank is horizontally supported, and a gap through which water can pass is formed between the receiving plate and a peripheral wall of the cold water tank. In addition, a cooling device is provided to the peripheral wall of the cold water tank at a height exactly the same or almost the same as the receiving plate.
