PURPOSE: To obtain the subject new product containing a vegetable dietary fiber and collagen at a specific ratio, useful as a substitute of dried gourd shaving, etc., capable of readily carrying out ligation by a ligating machine when a food such as seatangle is ligated and not untying knot when seasoned.

CONSTITUTION: This product contains (A) a vegetable dietary fiber and (B) collagen so that the ratio of the component A to the component B become (95:5) to (5:95), preferably (75:25) to (25:75) in terms of dried weight. A food obtained from a grain, a fruit, a vegetable, a seatangle, etc., is preferably used as the component A. A collagen fiber dispersion, etc., obtained by uniformly dispersing a material obtained by mechanically crushing a connective tissue of an animal, etc., into water at acidic pH is preferably used as the component B. Small particles having 5-15μm short diameter and 60-200μm long diameter and large particles having 30-40μm short diameter an 200-600μm long diameter are preferably included in the component A.
