To provide a camera constituted so that a lens barrel collapsible operation, an operation of a lens barrier device and a zooming operation can be organically performed by a single motor.

There are two cases; a rotary cylinder 9 is only rotated while fitting a pin 9c with the cam groove 3a of a fixed cylinder 3, and the rotary cylinder 9 is rotated and moved in a direction along an optical axis at the same time. A barrier connecting member 27 is attached to an intermediate cylinder 10, and the cylinder 10 interlocks only with the movement of the rotary cylinder 9 along the optical axis. As for a straight-advance cylinder 16 equipped with a first lens group 14, the pin 16a of the cylinder 16 passes through the linear oblong hole 10c of the intermediate cylinder 9 so as to engage with the cam groove 9e of the rotary cylinder 9. As for a lens frame 11 equipped with a second lens group 12, the pin 11a of the frame 11 passes through the linear oblong hole 10d of the intermediate cylinder 10 so as to engage with the cam groove 9f of the rotary cylinder 9. A barrier operating member 25 for operating barrier plates 19 to 22 is attached to the straight-advance cylinder 16, and the engagement part 25d of the member 25 is brought into contact with the barrier connecting member 27 only when the rotary cylinder 9 is moved along the optical axis so that the member 25 can be rotated.
