PURPOSE: To prevent a ball from overflowing from a collection gutter by stopping the discharge of a reservior ball when it stays in the collection gutter by providing a running down ball quantity detecting means at the collection gutter, and controlling the opening/closing of a control means which discharges the reservior ball in a ball reservior tank to the collection gutter corresponding to the output of the detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: A premium ball counter 17, a display device 16, an opening/closing mechanism 13 which drives a shutter as the control means, and a ball quantity adjusting machine 3 including the ball reservior tank 10 are mounted on the terminal part of a pachinko ball island 1 equipped with plural front boards 2 set in parallel and an inter-board ball rental machine 4. Also, the circulation circuit of the ball is composed by providing an oblique shape collection gutter 6 to which the ball is concentrated advancing a pachinko ball carrying device 8 at the lower side of the island, and arranging an oblique shape refilling gutter 5 at the lower aperture part of the upper tank 9 of the carrying device 8. A microswitch 40 that is the running down ball quantity detecting means is provided at the intermediate part of the collection gutter 6, and the opening/closing mechanism 13 can be controlled so as to close the shutter when the stay of the ball in the collection gutter 6 is detected by the microswitch 40.
