To have an underwater cruising body be easily recovered.SOLUTION: A recovery support device 4 includes: an underwater cruising body 1 cruising underwater; a slack detection unit 432 for detecting whether a connecting cable coupled to a water surface cruising body 2 is slack or not; a position acquirement unit 431 for acquiring a position of the underwater cruising body 1 and a position of the water surface cruising body 2; and a moving control unit 433 for moving at least one of the underwater cruising body 1 or the water surface cruising body 2 so that the distance between the underwater cruising body 1 and the water surface cruising body 2 become greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
