Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the core thickness, to contrive to make the title lens light in weight, to form it to a shape which can easily be manufactured by a glass liquid-drop method, and also, to make it to have a wave front aberration which can be allowed enough with regard to a comatic aberration being outside of the axis, as well by forming a lens which consists of a single element lens, whose parallel ray side is convex and aspherical and whose condensing side is a plane, and also, satisfy specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The title lens consists of a lens whose parallel ray side is convex and aspherical and whose condensing side is a plane, and also, formed so that conditions of expressions I-III are satisfied. In this regard, (f): (t): NA: (r): and delta denote a focal distance, core thickness of a planoconvex lens, a numerical aperture, a radius of curvature of the convex side, and a difference (the direction in which the curvature becomes small is negative) between the aspherical surface and the paraxial spherical surface in an effective diameter position. In such a way, the core thickness can be reduced to some extent, said lens can easily be manufactured by a manufacturing method by a glass liquid-drop method, etc., and also, a wave front aberration which can correct enough a comatic aberration being outside of the axis is obtained.
