Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a moving apparatus by providing a second limit switch arranged in a position, where it makes contact with a dog in advance of a contact part between moving apparatuses when the moving apparatuses approach each other, and detecting the dog.
SOLUTION: A collision preventing limit switch comprises a first detecting unit 14 consisting of a dog 17 retractably protruded from one cutter 11 to the other cutter 12 side and a first limit switch 19 making contact with the dog 17 pressed in by a given amount or more as a result of the dog making contact with a contact plate 18 being the contact part of the other cutter 12 and detecting the contact; and a second detecting unit 19 having a second limit switch 24 arranged in a position, where the second detecting unit makes contact with the tip 23 of the dog 17 in advance of the contact plate 18 when the cutters 11 and 12 approach each other, and detecting the dog 17.
