To provide a color developer solution for a photosensitive material in which the depositing property of color developing agents is improved and which ensures processing property with stable maximum density even in small-lot processing and reduces stain of an edge portion, and to provide a processing method for a photosensitive material by use of the developer solution.

In the color developer solution for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material comprising at least p-phenylenediamine type color developing agents, 2-35 wt.% of the p-phenylenediamine color developing agents is accounted for by a N-hydroxyalkyl-substituted p-phenylenediamine color developing agent, and the color developer solution further comprises a nitrogen-containing compound of a specific structure.
