PURPOSE: To improve the operability of artwork manufacture and to save the labor for control over original files by performing color differentiation artwork manufacture from the same original file by a necessary number.
CONSTITUTION: Data on an original OP is inputted to a floppy disk 2 to form a file. Color differentiation artwork 4 from the original file on the floppy disk 2 is outputted on a printer 3. An input controller 11 reads data out of the orginal file, record by record, and a line/page editing device 12 edits the read data as usual and also save information on attributes, ruled lines, etc., in a storage device 14 as a table. A suppression code substituting device 13 converts character codes except in corresponding colors into space codes according to the edited data and color differtiation artwork manufacture information from the storage device 14, and an output controller 15 manufactures and outputs artwork. Thus, the color differentiation artwork manufacture is performed from the same original file by a necessary number to control only one original file, saving the labor of the operation effectively.
