To provide a color electronic holography display device capable of displaying a color electronic holograph free from color shift or distortion without causing leakage of reference light or conjugate light for each of the lights in three colors while reducing the size of the device.

A color electronic holography system S is provided, in which a group of beams consisting of red, green and blue color beams are respectively generated by light sources of a color hologram light generating device 10; a hologram pattern is output from a hologram memory 19 and the color electronic holography image is displayed by an LCD 18; regenerated light constituting the color electronic holography image generated by irradiating the hologram pattern with the group of beams is condensed by a first optical system 21 of a color unnecessary light removing means 20; unnecessary light is blocked by a shielding plate 22; and the light is returned by a second optical system into a color electronic holography image being an object light from which unnecessary light is removed.
