Abstract:
To provide a color filter having good color characteristic and high contrasts, which is produced using a dispersion composition of pigment fine particles having fine dispersibility and dispersion stability, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the same, which exhibits excellent display properties.
The color filter has a pixel containing a graft polymer compound and a pigment dispersion composition containing organic pigment particles formed by mixing a solution prepared by dissolving an organic pigment in a good solvent with a bad solvent of the organic pigment compatible with the good solvent.
