To provide a color filter red coloring composition which offers superior dispersion stability and is capable of suppressing water-induced irregularity during manufacturing of a color filter.SOLUTION: A color filter red coloring composition is provided, containing a coloring pigment, pigment dispersant, pigment dispersion aid, resin, and organic solvent.
