Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor enabling high-speed plotting processing while keeping the quality of an output image.
SOLUTION: This device has a plotting circuit 1 for inputting multi-level image data in plural colors, a UCR/BG circuit 2 for plotting and outputting the image data, which are inputted from the plotting circuit 1, while decomposing them for each of color materials in plural colors into a buffer memory 5 corresponding to an inputted plotting operation code and for generation a K version and a binarizing circuit 3 for binarizing the plot data for each gradation and converting them to single-level image data. Thus, when the plotting operation code in any code excepting for an operating code containing a base image, the plotting/outputting function, the UCR/BG function and the binarizing function are simultaneously executed.
