PURPOSE: To prevent the color deviation due to parallax by providing a functional element such as a color filter or the like between a reinforcing substrate and an intermediate glass substrate having a specific thickness.

CONSTITUTION: A lower substrate is constituted with a layer-built body where the intermediate glass substrate having a thickness of ≤200 microns and the reinforcing substrate are adhered through an adhesive layer, and a display transparent electrode is formed on the inside face of the intermediate glass substrate, and a lower polarizing layer, a color filter, and a reflective layer are formed on the surface of the reinforcing substrate. Pollution of a liquid crystal is prevented because the color filter is insulated from a liquid crystal layer by the intermediate glass substrate, and the space between the liquid crystal layer and the color filter is reduced to such degree that color diviation can be ignored because a thin glass plate having a thickness of ≤ microns is used as the intermediate glass substrate.
