Title:
COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC PROCESSING SOLUTION AND SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3095847
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance stability and abrasion resistance of a color image, and preservable property of the processing solution, and to improve yellow stains by incorporating a specified compound obtained by introducing a specified group on the m-position of benzaldehyde.
CONSTITUTION: The color processing solution contains at least one of the compounds represented by formula I in which X is hydroxy, sulfo, carboxy, amino, sulfoamido, sulfamoyl, carbamoyl, sulfinyl, or sulfonyl; n is 0, 1, 2, or 3; each of R1 and R2 is, independently, H, alkoxy, optionally substituted lower alkyl, aldehyde, hydroxy, carboxy, or sulfo. This photographic processing solution is a stabilizing solution, and it is preferred that both of R1 and R2 are H, X is hydroxy, and n is 0, thus permitting color fade to be prevented without containing formaldehyde.
