Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ink ribbon and a color printer by which the remaining ribbon amount in a ribbon cassette or the like and an ink color to be printed next can be visually recognized by a user in a simple manner.
CONSTITUTION: Characters 3 indicating ribbon colors and numerals 4 indicating ribbon numbers are indicated before or in the respective color areas of an ink ribbon 1 by printing or the like. A user can recognize the used amount of the ribbon and an ink color to be printed next by identifying these characters.
