Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a color reproduction system in which color picture data are easily corrected corresponding to various input output conditions so as to attain highly accurate color reproduction and revision or addition or the like of the input output condition is flexibly processed.
CONSTITUTION: The input output condition of a color picture is selected by a basic profile comprising plural color space data conversion equations corresponding to the color reproduction processing system of a picture output device, plural parameters or plural relational equations are selected from a sub profile corresponding to variables of the color space data conversion equation selected from the basic profile and the setting of the input output condition is facilitated. In this case, the addition or revision or the like of the basic profile and the sub profile is facilitated. The processing to color picture data is implemented with high accuracy according to the input output condition set in this way and a color picture with high reproducibility is obtained.
