To improve fading resistance by coating at least one face of a luster zinc alloy plated steel sheet with a colored resin obtained by incorporating specified amounts of a colorant and a UV absorber into a matrix resin in a specified thickness and making the luster zinc alloy plating the luster plating consisting of a prescribed ternary alloy.
A luster plated steel sheet such as a luster, zinc alloy plated steel is used as a steel sheet being a substrate to be coated with a colored steel sheet is used as a steel sheet being a substrate to be coated with a colored resin. The luster, zinc alloy plating is formed as luster plating consisting of a Zn-Co-Mo ternary alloy. Then, at least one face of the such steel sheet is coated with a colored resin consisting of 100 pts.wt. matrix resin, 0.3-45 pts.wt. colorant and 1-4 pts.wt. UV absorber in 0.2-3.0 μm thickness to form the objective colored resin coated steel sheet. In this case, in order to improve adhesion to the resultant colored resin layer and rust resistance, the top of the plating layer may be applied to chromate treatment or the like.
