PURPOSE: To provide a fresh colored wood which does not conceal the grain of wood and has a uniform color up to the interior.

CONSTITUTION: An extracted solution forming device 1 which boils a portion material such as branches, or leaves or bark of a needle-leaved tree by adding water to them and forms an extracted solution containing a coloring matter component to be extracted from the portion material, a reservoir 7 which reserves the formed extracted solution, a stage distinction reservoir 20 which reserves respectively separately the extracted solutions of the stages each to be obtained by taking out with age the extracted solution to be formed by the extracted solution forming device 1, a concentrating device 21 which concentrates the extracted solution reserved in the reservoir 7 and an impregnating device 23 which colors wood by impregnating the wood with the extracted solution concentrated by the concentrating device 21 are provided. In the impregnating device 23, the extracted solution which is concentrated by the concentrating device 21 is used, a color is adjusted by the extracted solution reserved in the stage distinction reservoir 20 and the wood is impregnated with the adjusted extracted solution. Hereby, the coloring matter component to be extracted from the portion material is infiltrated away into the wood and the wood is colored away uniformly up to the interior under a state wherein the wood represents the grain of wood.
