Abstract:
To provide a method for digitally manipulating inking in a digital image to optimize the image by regulating the amount of ink put on paper.
The method for digitally manipulating inking in the digital image comprises the steps of, in order to replace partial inking with a value determined from actual measurement, rather than with a value derived from formulae, manipulating digital image data by a plurality of transformations, and obtaining a more favorable inking while maintaining printed color quality.
