Abstract:
To provide a coloring agent including a methylated diketo-pyrrolo-pyrrole pigment, having an excellent spectral characteristic, a high contrast ratio, a viscosity stability, and a solvent resistance, and causes less generation of foreign materials due to defective dispersion and less generation of foreign material due to a heating process.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a coloring agent containing a methylated diketo-pyrrolo-pyrrole pigment expressed by a chemical formula (1). The X-ray diffraction pattern of a CuKα-ray has its peak when the Bragg angle 2θ is 2θ(±0.3)=15.7° and 27.0°. The coloring agent has a crystal type in which the intensity ratio (H2/H1) when the diffraction intensity of 15.7° is denoted by H1 and the diffraction intensity of 27.0° is denoted by H2 is in the range of 1.5 to 2.6, both inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None
