Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure rigidity of joining between upper and lower columns and to simplify structure.
CONSTITUTION: Cross grooves 23 and 24 are formed in the end faces of columns 21 and 22, respectively, at corners of building units to be vertically joined to each other, a cross joint 30 is inserted into the grooves and fixed with through- bolt 33. The cross grooves 23 and 24 are also used as cross joints 25 and 26 for joining beams 27 and 28. This constitution ensures rigidity through simple structure.
