PURPOSE: To reduce the number of metal molds to be used for molding by forming a perpendicular cross section in the lengthwise direction of a column in a unidirectionally opening shape such as a flat bottomed U shape or a U shape.
CONSTITUTION: In a lower stage column 6 of a shelf member 2, a lower stage side fitting part 8 to be internally fitted in an installing hole 4 is arranged on its upper surface of a flat bottomed U-shaped cross-sectional column body 7, and a first wall 9 which has a flat bottomed U-shaped cross section and is brought into close contact with an inner wall 4a of the installing hole 4 is arranged in the fitting part 8, and an engaging claw 10 is arranged on its upper edge. A flat bottomed U-shaped cross-sectional column body 11 and a flat bottomed U-shaped cross-sectional upper stage side fitting part 12 to be internally fitted in the installing hole 4 are similarly arranged in an upper stage column 5, a second fitting part 13 to be internally fitted to the lower stage side fitting part 8 is protrusively arranged on its under surface. A second wall 14 to be brought into close contact with the first wall 9 of the lower stage side fitting part 8 is provided, and the engaging claw 10 is engaged with an engaging hole 15 arranged on the second wall 14. As a result, these are mutually fixed to the installing hole 4 without looseness.
