Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a columnar acrylic core container capable of observing the whole circumference of a core while storing the core as it is.SOLUTION: A columnar acrylic core container 10 which is used for cutting a core obtained by geological-survey boring into a predetermined length and, thereafter, housing and storing the cut core includes upper and lower members 11, 12 made of semi-cylindrical transparent acrylic plate. A length of the upper and lower members 11, 12 is set to be substantially equal to a length of the cut core and an inner diameter of the upper and lower members 11, 12 is set to be substantially equal to a half of an outer diameter of the core. Further, one end part of the upper member 11 is supported freely swingably onto one end part of the lower member 12 by a support shaft 13, an engagement claw of which the inner surface side is set as a protruded part is formed on the other end part of the upper member 11, and an engagement claw of which the outer surface side is set as a protruded part is formed on the other end part of the lower member 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
