PURPOSE: To provide a comb operated to reform curly hair into straight hair in a safer manner than curling irons, strainers or the like liable to damage hair and needing skill for operation, and operated easily by even unskilled person to obtain the same effect as the curling irons or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A curly hair reforming comb 1 is molded into a comb-shaped form of a ceramic material capable of being irradiated with far-infrared ray having a great penetrating force, activating the tissue of hair to the interior and promoting largely the penetrating and reactor-promoting property of chemicals, or of plastic containing about 5-50wt.% of the ceramic material irradiated with the far-infrared ray. The comb is provided in the main body with an electric heater capable of heating the mainbody or may further improve its effect by combining with a method of using the comb previously heated in a proper heater to increase the irradiation amount of the far-infrared ray.
