Abstract:
To attach a communication cable branch box stably to the outer circumferential wall of a communication cable manhole which enables efficient connection, branching, maintenance, inspection, etc., of communication cables installed in an underground network.
A communication cable branch box 14 which enables connection or branching of communication trunk line cables 15 is housed in a through-hole 6a drilled in a 3rd straight tube 6 of which a communication cable manhole 1 in which the communication trunk line cables 15 installed in horizontal conduits 11 and 12 can be connected to each other or branched out as a branch line cable 16 and, further, sealing material 17 is applied to the circumference of the communication cable branch box 14.
