To obtain an image that is obtained in a FLAIR sequence in a short time and, at the same time, to improve selected intravascular visualization in the field of magnetic resonance imaging, especially, for diagnostic medical purposes.
An MRI method includes a step of supporting a subject in an examination area 14 of an MRI scanner A and another step of setting up a spin system with net magnetization. An inversion pulse which inverts the magnetization of the spin system in a selected volume of the subject is applied. As the magnetization regrows, a first set of raw data is generated by acquiring MRI signals from a series of regions within the selected volume. For the first set of raw data, the series of regions are acquired in second temporal order with respect to the inversion pulse. When the inversion pulse is reapplied and as the magnetization regrows, a second set of raw data is generated in similar fashion to the first set of raw data.
