Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automotive combination headlamp of good appearance by integrating an extension reflector with a side lamp reflector.
CONSTITUTION: A headlamp body 30 equipped with at least an illuminant and a reflector 32 to reflect and distribute forward light emitted from the illuminant, is so provided as to be capable of performing an inclining motion in lamp space formed with a vessel-like lamp body 10 and a front lens 11 assembled into the front opening thereof. In addition, a side lamp body 40 equipped with an illuminant 44 and a reflector 42 to reflect and distribute forward light emitted from the illuminant 44 is so provided as to be adjacent to the headlamp body 30. The external surface of the body 30 is fitted with an extension reflector 28 extended toward area around the opening of the body 10. The extension reflector 28 and the side lamp reflector 42 are used as shielding walls to isolate light between both lamp bodies 30 and 40. Furthermore, the reflectors 28 and 42 are integrated with each other via a frame section of U-shaped horizontal section with a U-shaped vertical rod section 29 faced to the front lens 11.
