Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a combination metering machine and a metering method for instructing measurement of long and/or wide vegetables, such as leafy items, and other food items to enhance operational efficiency.SOLUTION: A combination metering machine comprises means of acquiring plural weight measurable sites and measured weight data in the plural weight measurable sites and calculating a combined weight from these factors, means of calculating the optimal combination that makes the optimal combined weight not less than prescribed and minimizes it, and an indicating mechanism that indicates the weight measurable site of the selected optimal combination. The operators pick out goods that meet the conditions of the optimal combination, and its weighing tray has a rising part on each of its flanks in the direction of placement, and the weighing tray used here has a longitudinal length not less than 1.5 times the width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
