Title:
COMBINATION PLAYTHINGS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003210867
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide combination playthings being excellent in portability, having a simple structure, yet hard to break, contributing to develop the intellect in children with such challenging difficulties, yet as not to make them tired of playing and yet not expensively priced such that many people can readily afford them for use.

These combination playthings are equipped with a base board, doughnut-shaped rotors and a plurality of elements. In the base board, doughnut-shaped grooves are formed on the main surface and the rear surface thereof, respectively. The doughnut-shaped rotors are rotatably engaged with the grooves and have spacers to divide the grooves in an equivalent space. The elements are held in the respective spacers. Within a group of such elements of respective doughnut-shaped rotors, numerals or letters in a particular order or sequence are inscribed on the single main surface of the base board. The doughnut-shaped rotors and the base board are structured so as to allow visual recognition of the inscription on the element surface from the single main surface of the base board. The manner in which respective groups of elements are arranged on the identical flat surface with respective doughnut-shaped grooves intersecting and communicating at two locations makes it possible for the elements to be exchanged in a certain location between respective doughnut-shaped rotors.
