To provide a combination weighing instrument which is capable of simultaneously manufacturing articles having different weights and which is easy to maintain its combination accuracy.
An operation controlling section 8 of a combination weighing instrument 100, based on the weight of an object M held in each weighing hopper 4, which is acquired from a weighing section 5, selects a combination of weighing hoppers 4 holding the objects M as a first group such that the total weight of the objects M is within a predetermined range from a first targeted weight. From among the weighing hoppers 4 other than the first group, a combination of weighing hoppers 4 holding the objects M is selected as a second group such that the total weight of the objects M is different from the first targeted weight and is within a predetermined range. A gate 4a of each weighing hopper 4 belonging to the fist group is opened to discharge the object M to one discharging route 6a from among discharging routes 6a, 6b, and a gate 4b of each weighing hopper 4 belonging to the second group is opened to discharge the object M to other discharging route 6b which is different from one discharging route 6a.
