Abstract:
To inhibit damage of a gasification furnace.SOLUTION: A combined plant 1 includes: a gasification furnace 101 which gasifies a solid fuel to generate a product gas; a boiler 30 which causes the solid fuel to burn to generate steam; a char separation device 15 which separates the product gas discharged from the gasification furnace 101 from char contained in the product gas; a char return line 46 which supplies the char separated by the char separation device 15 to the gasification furnace 101: a char supply line 47 which supplies the char separated by the char separation device 15 to the boiler 30; a flow rate adjustment valve 47a which adjusts an amount of the char supplied to the boiler 30 through the char supply line 47; and a control device 96 which controls the flow rate adjustment valve 47a so that an amount of the char which exceeds a predetermined threshold value is supplied to the boiler 30 when an amount of the char supplied to the gasification furnace 101 exceeds the predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
