PURPOSE: To improve the sharpness by arranging a clipper so that the projection of a comb body reaches the side of the opposite cutting edge body and that the mutual rubbing the rear sides of the cutting edges are guided naturally on the inclined surface of the comb body.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of use, hair (a) corresponding to the width of the comb body 31 is caught by each comb body 31 and the opposite edge 2, and the hair having gotten in the gaps 33 between comb edges is cut. In this case, the rear of the projection 34 is made into an inclined surface, and they are arranged so that the rear of the comb body 31 and the opposite edge 2 may rub each other strongly. Hereby, the hair (a) can be cut surely and sharply. Moreover, the comb body 31 may be made a continuous edge without making it a single edge, and further without making the rear of the projection on the side of the pivotal part of the edge, a proper projection may be made and the rear of this projection made an incline.
