PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combustible water-containing material treatment equipment.SOLUTION: An inner side of a horizontal type cylinder 12 is divided into a drying area A, one-way transferring area B, a thermal decomposition gasification area C, a circulation transferring area D and a combustion area E. Material is agitated and transferred. At the one-way transferring area B, the material is transferred in one-way in a cylinder 40 storing helical plates to form gas seal for preventing gas flow. The thermal decomposition gasification area, circulation transferring area and combustion area have transferring means for transferring material under circulating flow. At the drying area, a material supply pipe and overheated water vapor feeding pipe are arranged and a water vapor extracting pipe 16 is connected. At the thermal decomposition area, a gas taking-out pipe 88 for taking out combustible gas from the material. At the combustion area, a discharging pipe 85A for discharging gas from the material and a solid object discharging pipe 17 are connected there. A heat exchanger is installed outside a furnace, water vapor got from a water vapor taking-out pipe is heated with discharged gas got from the discharging pipe by a heat exchanger 30 and returned back to a gas feeding pipe 31 as overheated water vapor.
