Abstract:
To eliminate an electrode for measuring an ion concentration from inside of a combustion chamber of a combustion apparatus.SOLUTION: A combustion apparatus according to the present invention includes a mixing chamber, a casing, a swirler, a power source part and a measuring device. The mixing chamber includes an opening, and discharges gas to be burned from the opening. The casing forms a combustion chamber having conductivity at least on an inner wall thereof and burning gas discharged from the opening of the mixing chamber. The swirler ejects the gas discharged from the opening of the mixing chamber to the combustion chamber. The measuring device includes the power source part generating an ion current between the inner wall of the casing and the swirler, and measures an ion concentration in the combustion chamber on the basis of a value of the ion current between the inner wall of the casing and the swirler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
