Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of harmful components by compensating the disturbance of oxygen concentration measurement caused by the quantity fluctuation of leaking-in air.
SOLUTION: At the time of measuring (35) the oxygen concentration of a waste gas discharged from a combustion chamber (4) in which an object to be incinerated, such as waste, etc., is burnt on the downstream side of a waste gas flow passage separated from the chamber (4) and maintaining and controlling the measured oxygen concentration at a preset target value or within a target range (37 and 38), the NOx concentration of the waste gas is measured (36) and, when the measured NOx concentration gets out of the target range (40), the disturbance of the oxygen concentration measurement caused by the quantity fluctuation of the leaking-in air is compensated by increasing or decreasing the target value or target range of the oxygen concentration.
