Title:
COMBUSTION DEVICE AND ADHERED SLAG REMOVING DEVICE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09101015
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the adhesion of slag to a furnace wall surface in the vicinity of a burner for a combustion device of coal and the like without employing any expansive power source.

In a combustion device wherein solid fuel such as coal and the like is transferred into a burner 4 employing compressive fluid such as air and the like and combustion air is supplied into the burner 4 through a multitude of stage, at least one set of duct, whose one end is closed, or a resonance device (acoustic oscillator) 31 is installed in a part of a combustion air supplying duct (wind box) so that the lengthwise direction thereof becomes orthogonal to the flow direction of combustion air. The acoustic oscillator 31 is characterized in a point that the affecting range is wide and the adhesion of slag across the wide range of a furnace wall can be prevented much more compared with a soot blower, used conventionally as the removing device of ash, since sound (pressure wave) is being utilized.
