To provide a combustion device capable of effectively using resources by the combined use of solid fuel and liquid fuel and also suitably performing temperature adjustment.
In this combustion device 10, the feed rate of solid fuel F to a combustion tray 50 is adjusted by adjusting rotating speeds of motors 52 and 60 (rotating speeds of an upper screw 62 and a lower screw 54) of a solid fuel burner 46. Namely, since the amount of the solid fuel F supplied to the combustion tray 50 and burnt therein can be adjusted, the combustion temperature of the solid fuel F can be suitably adjusted. Since the blowout amount of fire flame blown by a liquid fuel burner not shown can be also adjusted, the combustion temperature of the liquid fuel can be also suitably adjusted. Consequently, a temperature in a combustion chamber 20 and the temperature of a heat exchange cylinder 29 (the temperature of a heat exchange chamber 22) can be suitably adjusted, whereby the temperature adjustment of air (hot air) heated in the heat exchanger chamber 22 and blown out of the connecting cylinder 26 can be suitably performed.
