Abstract:
To reduce damage of an electrode which ignites a combustion gas.SOLUTION: A combustion device 10 according to the invention includes a first swirler 46 and a second swirler 47 which are disposed on an axis parallel to a direction in which a combustion gas is jetted. An insulation material 48 provided between the first swirler 46 and the second swirler 47 forms a discharge gap. The first swirler 46 and the second swirler 47 are members, each comprising a hub and multiple vanes extending radially around the hub. The insulation material 48 is a disc shaped member. An outer diameter of the insulation material 48 is larger than an outer diameter of the hub and smaller than the outer diameter of the vane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
