Abstract:
To provide a combustion device which can be formed compactly so as to further decrease a depth, can be installed compactly at a position closer to the wall of a room interior by shielding heat radiated to the back surface side of the combustion device, and can properly heat convection air by the heat radiated to the back surface side of the combustion device.SOLUTION: In a combustion device that has a side wall 12 standing upright and provided so as to form each of a front surface 12a, a left-side front surface 12b, a right-side front surface 12c, a left-side rear surface 12d, a right-side rear surface 12e and a rear surface 12f in such a way that a main body 10 forming a combustion chamber 20 capable of combusting firewood is formed in a hexagonal shape in a planar view, a back-surface-side shield plate 60 is provided which includes three planes which are a left-side rear surface plate 62, a front-side rear surface plate 63 and a rear surface plate 64 so as to form a convection vertical space 61 with an equal clearance from the three surfaces that are the left-side rear surface 12d, right-side rear surface 12e, and rear surface 12f of the main body 10 which become the back side at an installation position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
