To provide a combustion heater for reducing the cooling of a glow plug and a wick due to combustion air and improving ignitability.
The combustion heater 1 is arranged so that it comes into contact with the end face of a combustion chamber 12, and has the wick 2 for retaining fuel, and the glow plug 103 that is arranged close to the wick and is exposed into the combustion chamber. One portion of a part that at least does not come into contact with the wick in the glow plug is covered with a heat-resistant windbreaking member 110, combustion air from a combustion air hole 104 directly hits against the glow plug for preventing it from being cooled. The windbreaking member 110 comprises: a covering section 111, a support section 113, a wick pressing section 112, and so on.
