Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To advance starting of a combustion heater by accelerating permeation of fuel to the entire wick and accelerating temperature rise of the wick.
SOLUTION: A combustion heater is provided with a fuel distribution means 11, at this side of a wick 10, for distributing fuel to the entire wick. The fuel distribution means consists of a fuel dispersing plate 16 having fuel distributing grooves 15 and punched with a number of holes. Fuel is allowed to permeate the entire wick by the fuel distribution means. Further, in order to accelerate temperature rise of the wick, such measures are taken as providing a glow plug 14b, outside an ignition glow plug 14a, for raising temperature of the wick, providing a planar heater 18 for heating the wick being in contact with the wick, and the like measures.
